Our mission is For the Kids with a commitment to raising funds for children in need of specialized pediatric and medical care that otherwise are not available to them locally. Dance Marathon at FSU, the largest student-run philanthropy in the southeastern region of the United States, benefits our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, Shands Children’s Hospital, and the FSU College of Medicine Pediatric Outreach Program. We are one of the five founding Miracle Network Dance Marathon’s in the country! The 40-hour event is split into two 20-hour shifts (Garnet and Gold), where dancers commit to being on their feet for 20 hours, standing for those who can’t. Dancers, volunteers, and local community members are inspired by local performing artists and student groups, sponsored theme hour activities, and by meeting local miracle families who have been directly affected by the funds raised through events like Dance Marathon at FSU and have been treated at our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. In addition to the 40-hour marathon, Dance Marathon at FSU hosts additional events throughout the year. Our mission is a year-long effort and a year-long celebration!Dance Marathon at FSU is committed to making a difference in our community, $1 at a time. In 2016, Dance Marathon at FSU raised a grand total of $1,435,120.32 and since our inception in 1996, nearly $8 million For the Kids. The funds raised make the difference in providing the medical care, treatment, and research needed at Shands Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and the FSU College of Medicine.

Since then Homecoming has continued to expand and become more popular with students, turning into what it is today. The week of events now kicks off with Warchant, a concert held in the Leon County Civic Center, which fills with over 8,000 students, faculty, and alumni to watch headlining celebrity artists. Previous headliners include Florida Georgia Line, Big Sean, and most recently Chance the Rapper. Spear-It Night, Torch Pursuit, Renegade Recess, Skit Night, Seminole Festival, and Parade are the events that follow throughout the week. The week culminates with Pow Wow, which is the largest collegiate pep rally in the United States, with entertainment from student organizations such as the FSU Flying High Circus, FSU Cheerleaders, Golden Girls, acapella groups and performances from comedians, such as Jimmy Fallon, Kathy Griffin, Nick Offerman, Amy Schumer, and most recently Whittney Cummings. • Isaiah Ehmke Why PEOs Should Consider Remodel Health's ICHRA+ SolutionAs a PEO leader, you understand the complexities of managing diverse client groups, especially regarding health benefits. At Remodel Health, we recognize these challenges and offer a solution to meet your needs: the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA+).What Makes ICHRA+ a Game-Changer for PEOs?🔹 Ideal for High-Risk Groups (50+ Employees): For larger groups with higher risk profiles, finding a cost-effective solution can be tough. • James Bissell Let’s talk about MEDDPICCI’ve been training a few reps for a Sales Leader and then doing some 1:1 coaching to help reinforce the training. One of the things they found was they were losing deals late in the sales process. When we looked into some data in Salesforce, we found one of two things.1. Lack of information in Decision Criteria2. Loads of unstructured information in Decision Criteria 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 #𝟭If we don’t know what criteria the prospect is using to evaluate our solution (not just technical), we are wasting everyone's time. It’s like me going to an estate agent and not telling them I want a double garage, five bedrooms, and a big garden. What happens? They start showing me 1 bed flats. You should capture this on your discovery call OR during your pre-demo prep call with your Champion. 𝗡𝗼𝘄 #𝟮Capturing lots of information is better, BUT…We need to:↳ Qualify Who and Why↳ Stack Rank𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝘆…If they said vendors need a Slack integration and you can offer that, don’t just move on.Ask why? There could be an opportunity to attach this to the Metrics and help increase your chances of winning the deal. If you can’t offer it, don’t worry. First, ask questions likeMe: “Do you mind if I ask where that item came from?”Prospect: “IT”Me: “Ah OK. Curious, if you couldn’t integrate with Slack, what risk would that put on the project?”Prospect: “Nothing. We just try to integrate most tech with Slack.”Me: “Gotcha. If we couldn’t offer a Slack integration, will IT stop us from partnering with you?”Remember, they might have seen somewhere from Gartner etc, that this is helpful (not critical, though)𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴…Similar to the above. If we can get an idea of the order of importance, we can prioritise those items in our business case and demos.+ If we see a bunch of items in the top 5 we can’t offer, and they are required, we can frame a walkaway and see how they respond. Remember guys, you only have 9-5 with your prospects. Spend time on 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 deals. If you don’t know what criteria they’re using to decide, you might as well not bother. I’ve put together hundreds of slides and 125 video lessons that walk through my MEDDPICC playbook in my Sales University. Learn more here:https://lnkd.in/e3VU_WXZ Hope this helps you execute - DM James Bissell with any questions! 39 25 Comments

  • Jack Seal “Give em a cathedral” - Simon Sinek (Start With Why)I don’t usually hop on here to post, but I wanted to share something that I’ve been learning/implementing and what’s happened as a result. June 2024 was the worst sales month as a SAAS AE that I’ve ever had, and it wasn’t even close. I closed less revenue than before, I was misaligned, and every day I came into work frustrated that things weren’t better (and of course it wasn’t my fault that things were bad either), and I didn’t know WHY I was doing what I was doing. July 2024 was the best sales month as a SAAS AE that I’ve ever had, and it wasn’t even close. I closed more revenue than before, I was aligned with the company’s mission and my role specifically aligned with my WHY — to get into sales leadership — and I took responsibility for my results, both good and bad. What changed??At the end of June, I had conversations with Sam Wilson, Jared Reynolds, Benjamin Kinard, Brandon Hatch, and Jaxon Johnsen — all great leaders in their own unique ways. They helped me realize that I was misaligned and that I had lost the excitement/confidence that I once had for the company mission and for the amazing product that we sell. I also met with Jake Norton, who doesn’t even work at NexHealth, but who provided me with really valuable feedback into rediscovering WHY I’m in sales and not doing something more relevant to my BS degree. As a result of those conversations, I was able to do a bit of introspection, rediscover my WHY, and get excited about selling a product for a company with a mission that not only aligns with my WHY, but that can help me grow and develop into the leader that I want to be. To use Simon Sinek’s brick layer analogy in Start With Why: I’m no longer laying bricks for $10 an hour, but rather building a cathedral (ie. contributing to a worthwhile and exciting mission and developing myself as a result.)https://lnkd.in/gmzHXfz2If you’re having a hard time in your sales role (D2D, B2B, B2C)… when was the last time you considered WHY you’re at the company that you’re at? Are you finding fulfillment? If you’re looking to join a fast-growing startup with legitimate internal growth opportunities and with a mission that you can be proud to talk about to family and friends, please DM me so I can get you in for an interview. Come accelerate healthcare with me!! 54 15 Comments
  • Tina Hoffman I just finished my first quarter at Dialpad. I have many positive things to say about my experience thus far, but what I really want to talk about today is this:👏 I just witnessed an INSANE number of internal promotions! 👏 Before today, I've mentioned being proud of Dialpad's product platform as well as our awards and accolades, but now I get to mention how proud I am of Dialpad's commitment to its People and Doing the Right Thing.Intelligent and thoughtful hiring, intentional and purposeful training, productive feedback, and ultimately, fantastic rewards are some of the KEY INGREDIENTS to making PEOPLE a company's competitive advantage.I'm PROUD to work for a company that puts these priorities FIRST and it only makes me want to work even HARDER to WIN!#dialpad #ucaas #ccaas #techsales #proud #leadership #people #competitiveadvantage 132 7 Comments
  • Rebecca Plane The Future of SaaS Sales: It's All About Relationships 🤝In the world of SaaS, building strong relationships with your clients is more important than ever. It's not just about closing deals, but about becoming a trusted advisor who understands their needs and helps them achieve their goals. Here are 3 ways I prioritize relationship-building in my sales approach:📈 Focus on value, not just features: Show prospects how the product can solve their specific pain points, not just what it does. 💡 Become a resource: Share industry insights, offer helpful advice, and go above and beyond to support clients. 📞 Foster open communication: Encourage feedback, be transparent, and always be available to answer questions or concerns. Remember, in the SaaS world, it's not just about the sale, it's about the long-term partnership. #SaaS #Sales #RelationshipBuilding #CustomerSuccess 6

  • Griffen D. Thank you to everyone who came to our webinar yesterday! 🎥 One large takeaway was the difference between a 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧 and a 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧. Whether discussing vehicle reimbursement programs or a different SaaS, the distinction is key! 🗝 A provider simply fulfills a task, sticking to a set method to get the job done. A provider doesn’t build relationships and the services provided are transactional.💳 But a partner, on the other hand, is there every step of the way. They build a lasting relationship and address all of your needs in real-time.🤝 In the reimbursement space, fully understanding your vehicle program and crafting a solution that aligns perfectly with your goals is crucial. We are 𝗻𝗼𝘁 a one-size-fits-all solution—we tailor our approach to suit each unique company we work with.🧠 #cardata #reimbursement #SaaS 16 1 Comment
