Brockville Independent
Computer Club

BICC is a non-profit organization made up of both novice and experienced computer users. The aim of the group is for members to help one another get more enjoyment from their computers and related electronic devices. Together we:

  • Solve hardware and software problems experienced on our home computers

  • Learn about new software applications

  • Share experiences regarding the installation and use of hardware and software

  • Discuss new technologies

  • Participate in field trips to businesses and facilities involved in the high tech industry or which use current technologies

  • Invite guest speakers to share their expertise with us

  • Socialize with others interested in using computers

  • Learn how to create home networks, surf the Internet and protect our computers from viruses and spyware

The club holds meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Fulford Academy on King Street E beginning at 7:30p.m. Guests are always welcome. The annual membership fee is $25 but anyone interested in computers is invited to attend two free sessions before deciding whether to join.

BICC also has a Special Interest Group (SIG) for members interested in digital photography. This group meets the first Monday of each month.
